Recruit Ian – Give him 100 caps or persuade him to join. Improve Shady Sands’ Agriculture – Speak with Curtis in the Shady Sands Garden. You’ll need it in Vault 15.Ĭure Jarvis of Radscorpion Poison – Speak with Seth. Alternatively you can buy one in the General Store in the Hub. You can always come back here and complete this quest if you’re not confident now. You may want to look around first but the Radscorpions aren’t too difficult to deal with. Speak to Seth and he’ll tell you about the Radscorpion problem and offer to take you to the caves. This will give you a bonus 250 experience points. Talk to Katrina at the entrance and exhaust all possible dialogue options with her. There’s no right or wrong but some characters may be easier to play than others. Have a look at the skills and traits and see which ones fit your character. Intelligence also affects the dialogue options you have in conversations with NPCs so it’s fairly important. You can make up for this by adding at least 3 of the bonus character points into Intelligence which increases the skill points you get per level. Gifted improves all of your base stats by 1 but reduces all of your skills by 10%. The pre-set characters are not very good so it’s definitely recommended that you create your own character from scratch.
