After that, I didn't do anything else but now comes the current situation: the USB isn't even detected in the BIOS and hence can't booted on (even though i have my USB drive at the topmost priority). I tried pressing keys and repeating the process several times to no avail. I read online that I should delete and recreate the partition, and I was planning on doing that, but then the laptop gets stuck at "Press any key to boot from USB". Then, I tried doing the same thing but after modifying the partitions on the Windows setup window, but the results were exactly the same. The first time I booted the laptop on that USB, I got stuck in "Copying Windows Files" at 0%, which I found out by leaving it for ~6 hours and coming back to an error message. I downloaded a 32-bit Windows 10 ISO and made a bootable USB drive using Rufus (I tried with NTFS and FAT32, but only as MBR).

It came with 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium but I wanted to upgrade it to Windows 10 by completely wiping everything off of it. This is going to be a long and thorough post.įirst of all, I have a Samsung NP530U3B-A02ID (laptop) purchased in around 2012.
